Leone Stars’ possible debutant Rodney Michael who plies his professional trade in USA has expressed great delight over the opportunity to represent his country, which he refers to as “a dream come true”.
Rodney further expressed determination to impress the nation if given the opportunity on Saturday as Sierra Leone takes on Algeria-B in a friendly encounter.
Leone Stars are in the UAE for a week long training which officially commenced today during and are expected to engage the Algerian homebased (CHAN) side in a friendly encounter today November 19th whilst the possibility for a second friendly clash is currently being explored.

This outing is part of the country’s endless efforts in preparation for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Rodney was part of Leone Stars previous double friendly encounter with South Africa and Congo Dr. However, he got injured during a training session with the team.
