In formed local based striker for Sierra Leone Premier League Club East End Lions FC, Alie Conteh (Inzonzi) impressed in Leone Stars’ day one training session at the Sueno Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey on Tuesday 22nd March, 2022.

Conteh 18, born at 7J Conteh Drive in the Tengbeh Town Community Freetown is currently on six goals and four assists with two ‘man of the match award’ for his club, and he is set to make his debut for the Leone Stars in Turkey in three international friendly matches.

“It came to me like a dream when I was called to the national team as this is the dream of every player. I therefore pray to God to guide me through the right path”, Conteh said.

He added: “I am ready to do my utmost best to give victory to the team if giving the opportunity to play in these matches”.

Ezoze’s first match for the Killers was a friendly against Bai Bureh Warriors FC were he scored a hat-trick, before playing his first competitive match against Central Parade FC in the country’s elite league.

Other goalscorers in today’s training were Amadu Bakayoko from Bolton Wonderers FC and Kallum Sesay from Tottenham Hotspur.

Leone Stars will play Togo on Thursday 24th March, 2022 at the Mardan Sports Complex in Aksu, Antalya, Turkey, Liberia on 27th and Congo Brazzaville on 29th, March, 2022.
