The two most successful football clubs in Sierra Leone East End Lions Football Club and Mighty Blackpool Football Club will face each other tomorrow, November 24, 2022, in the Luawa Gala at the Attouga Mini Stadium, marking their first preseason meeting after two years.

Both teams last met in a preseason outing in 2019 during the finals of the Sierra Leone Ex-Service Men Wives Association (SLEMWA) when East End Lions Football Club triumphed over their counterpart on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the ninety-minute proceedings.

However, East End Lions Football Club remains unbeaten against Mighty Blackpool in their last seven meetings which comprised both competitive and gala matches recording four wins and the three ended in stalemate.

Also today in the same preseason gala, Real Republicans Sports Club will host FC Kallon at the Kay Tee field, this marks FC Kallon’s second match after a 1-1 draw over the weekend with Luawa Football Club.
