26-year-old Sierra Leone international Forward, Mustapha Bundu has scored his first goal for Plymouth Argyle in the English championship club.
Bundu blasted in a free kick to give the Pilgrims the lead in their 3-0 win over Sheffield on Wednesday.
The strike came on his first start for the Championship club since his deadline-day move from Belgian side Anderlecht on a two-year deal.
Having made five appearances off the bench, Bundu had not previously found the net, despite coming close in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at West Bromwich Albion.
Bundu received a standing ovation when he came off with 20 minutes to go, to be replaced by Argyle top scorer Ryan Hardie – whose spot he had taken in the side.
The Leone Stars Forward joined the championship side on a two-year deal from Anderlecht. Bundu’s football journey began at Craig Bellamy’s Football Academy in Freetown and included spells with Hereford, AGF Aarhus and latterly Anderlecht.
