The Board, Management, and Staff of the National Sports Authority (NSA) have extended their deepest condolences to the Conteh family and the wider football community following the passing of Madam Victoria Conteh, former Head Coach of Sierra Leone’s Senior National Female Football Team, the Sierra Queens.
In a statement, the Authority described Madam Conteh as a trailblazer whose contributions to football in Sierra Leone will be remembered for generations. She made history as the first Sierra Leonean female coach to lead a team in the country’s male Premier League — a groundbreaking achievement that challenged long-standing norms within the sport.
