The Ministry of Sports (MOS) and the National Sport Authority (NSA) have joined the Government of Sierra Leone to sympathize with school going children and their parents who were involved in an accident at the Bo Sport Stadium on Thursday 2nd February, 2023.

This is according to a press release dated 2nd February, 2023 signed by Eric Batilo Fomba, the Head of Media and Communications of NSA.

They also informed the general public that, a technical team is set to embark on a fact finding visit to Bo, aiming at examination of the stadium and recommend necessary actions to be taken.

The release reads;

”The Ministry of Sport (MOS) and the National Sport Authority (NSA) join the Government of Sierra Leone to sympathize with school children and their parents/guardians in Bo City who were involved in an accident at the Bo sport stadium on Thursday 2nd February, 2023.

Meanwhile, a technical team from the Ministry of Sport and the National Sport Authority will embark on a fact finding visit to Bo with the aim of assessing the stadium and recommend necessary actions thereafter.

Speedy recovery to the affected children”.
