Sierra Leone Female Swimmer Olamide Sam has made her Olympic debut in the Olympic 50-meter Freestyle.

Sam finished 6th in her 50m Freestyle heat 1 event on Saturday, clocking 42.87 secs to beat her previous 48.51 record in Qatar.

For Olamide Sam, she was part of a field of 852 competitors from around the world across 35 events.

The National Sports Authority (NSA), together with the Sport Ministry, is excited about the country’s outrun figure of female Olympians and their incredible performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
