The stage was well prepared for the SLFA ordinary congress on Wednesday 5th July 2023 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown which hosted many football stakeholders in the country.
The ordinary congress is schedule for 4th-6th July, 2023. The focus is to deliberate on issues pertinent to the development of football in Sierra Leone and is built on the theme ‘let’s raise the game’
He clearly stated that, he cannot destroy all the gains he has made in the football arena of Sierra Leone for many years for a selfish interest adding that, even if his team relegates it has to go through the due process.
“There is this rumour that there will be no relegation, I cannot undo my gains made over the years for selfishness. If my team relegate, let them relegate!” he noted.
Brima also stated that, the number of teams that will participate in the Sierra Leone Premier League will be 12 in 2026.
