With support from CAF and FIFA, raising the standard of referees in the continent, two Sierra Leone referees have took part in an Intensive Referees Training engagement in the CAF Women’s Champion League qualifiers in Liberia.
The training aims at empowering these young referees to be abreast with the Laws of the Game, Physical fitness and effective Match Management.
The two Sierra Leonean FIFA badged referees- Humu Marah (Central), Precious Adama Amara (Assistant), were designated by the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone A to officiate in the 2023 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Club Championship Qualifiers in Liberia.
The WAFU Zone A Qualifiers for this year is ongoing in Monrovia, Liberia, and will conclude this August, 2023.
