Match officials have abandoned the match between Freetown City Football Club and FC Kallon at Attouga Mini Stadium this evening.
This comes following a press release issued by the Sierra Leone National Football Referees Organisation (SLNFRO) this morning.
The Referees Organisation affirmed that they will stop officiating matches for both FC Kallon male and female teams subject to the action of Mohamed Kallon, owner and coach of the club
This backlash came as a result of an accusation made by Kallon against a referee on his Facebook page.
According to the post, the FC Kallon coach accused one referee of making a bias statement against his team.
The Referee’s Organisation also complained that it is habitual of the former Inter Milan to be negative against the organisation citing an incident at Police Field where they said Kallon assaulted Zainab Wilson, a Referee Assessor.
The Organisation complained that authorities responsible have refused to look into the matter since it was reported to them.
