Rodney Michael Calls on Financial Support For Wusum Stars

The Chairman of Mighty Blackpool, Edmond Michael has called on stakeholders in Bombali District to provide financial support to Wusum Stars Football Club representing the Northeast region in the country’s top-tier league.

Chairman Rodney Edmond Michael made this call to dignitaries residing and hailing from Bombali to support the club financially as this will take more youths off the street and reduces the rate of unemployment.

He described the Wusum Stars’ squad as young and talented and with huge potential when they have the support needed, adding that Bombali is among those districts that have produced influential people in Sierra Leone and he appealed for them to come on board in assisting the football team.

Michael who served as Chairman of the Premier League Board in the 2010/11 season concluded that Sierra Leone football faces challenges of football infrastructure and therefore it is time for community members to support their teams.
