Chief Executive Officer of Edmond Michael Foundation Football Club,Rodney Michael has dissolved his division 1 club after 4 decades of serving football in Bo District Southern Sierra Leone .

After dissolving his team CEO Michael took to Social Media with the post “It is with a heavy heart but absolutely necessary that after 4 decades of serving football in Bo city to dissolve my DIVISION1 FOOTBALL TEAM,”

The CEO further confirmed after settling all arrears to players, any further investment in football will be after Mighty Blackpool is privatized.

The Edmond Michael Football Foundation, based in Bo City, Southern Region, was founded by Rodney Michael, one of Sierra Leone’s leading football philanthropists in the country.

Many have described the dissolvement  as a big loss to the Bo  District and the Sierra Leonean  Football Community.

It was a requirement for all members of the foundation to attend University or school regularly and there was a monitoring team to ensure such during the club’s existence.
