The Shooting Stars of Sierra Leone successfully touched down this morning following their stay in Rabat, Morocco.
The delegation consisting of players and team officials returned after an international friendly match against Morocco, forming a critical part of the team’s preparations for their debut appearance in the Africa Cup of Nations U20 tournament.
It is known that Egypt has been granted the hosting rights for the tournament, a decision made after the Ivorian Football Federation withdrew from its hosting rights two days ago, just weeks before the tournament’s commencement.
Furthermore, according to Shooting Stars, with their focus now fully on the upcoming continental competition, the Shooting Stars will continue their preparations at home.
Additionally, the technical team is set to amplify training intensity, ensuring the squad is in optimal condition for their historic debut on the grand stage of African youth football.
