The lady’s Patriots of Sierra Leone defeated Ghana by 7 wickets in their second game at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
Ghana scored 19 runs with a strike rate of 55.88, however, the lady’s patriots replied with 68 runs for the loss of 3 in 12.2 overs.
Sierra Leone will take on the defending champion Rwanda today in the morning hour as Nigeria currently leads the log followed by Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Ghana and Cameroon
Sierra Leone Cricket Association recently appointed Fatmata Parkinson as Captain of the Women’s Patriot in the Nigeria WT201 Invitational series.
The invitational tournament is conducted on March 26 – April 3 at the Tafawa Belewa square Oval in Lagos.
Five Countries are invited to participate in the Tournament. The participating countries are Cameroon, Rwanda, Ghana, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.
