The Sierra Leone U-20 team will face their Senegalese counterparts in the WAFU A final later on Saturday, September 28 at 4:00 PM in Monrovia, Liberia
The Shooting Stars qualified for the final after defeating The Gambia three-nil in the semis. The result also gifted the U-20 team their first-ever appearance in the AFCON U-20 tournament in Morocco next year.
The Shooting Stars coach, Mohamed Lamin Bangura (ML) said earlier that he is confident in his team and players ahead of this crunching tie.
Senegal’s Young Lions of Teranga qualified for the final after defeating Guinea by two goals to nil in the semis.
Football analysts have forecast that the two sides are of equal strength with both playing to a 1-1 draw in their only-ever encounter in 2020.
