Sierra Leone Olympic Team, Sierra Dolphins safely arrived in Italy upon the invitation of the Italian Swimming Federation for two weeks training.
The team which comprises of swimmers Joshua J. J. Wyse and Tity Dumbuya, Coach Sheku Conteh and the Assistant Secretary Abdul Turay departed Ivory Coast for Milan, Italy in the early of hours of yesterday. They arrived in Italy and were welcomed by the President of H2O Swim Team, Alberto Boero.
The delegation will be staying in accommodation provided by their hosts and the athletes will be trained in Monza in preparation for their events in the Tokyo 2020 games by Mr. Mario Franchi, Sporting Director and the H2O Sports Team.
The Olympic Duo and their officials will return to Freetown at the end of the two weeks training to join the other members of the Sierra Leone Olympic Team.
