The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has dismissed the entire technical staff of the Sierra Leone national football team with immediate effect.
The sweeping decision, confirmed through credible sources, comes in the wake of underwhelming performances and growing pressure to revitalize the team ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
While the SLFA has yet to release an official statement explaining the rationale behind the move, speculation is rife that the organization is determined to overhaul the team’s structure to improve results on the field.
Sources close to the SLFA indicate that the announcement of interim coaches is imminent. Leading the race for these caretaker roles are former international star Mohamed Kallon, ex-England defender Paul Parker, and John Keister, who has prior experience managing the national team.
