A young Sierra Leonean footballer just signed an official contract with Arsenal Football Club in England.

The youngster, Joshua Sesay will start his career at the club’s academy hoping to rise up to the big league in the coming years.

The news was confirmed in a tweet by a trusted youth outlet called The Secret Scout.

The under-15 attacking midfielder is an up-and-coming talent with a skill set that allows him to excel as a winger on both the left and right sides of the field.

Millwall has been successful in developing young players in recent years. They are not afraid to give their top young players a chance in the first team at The Den, and some academy talents are also sought after by other clubs.

Sesay shines as a dynamic winger, adept at operating across both flanks, and first captured the attention of the Gunners during the under-15 Floodlit Cup last season, where he made a considerable impact.

In that competition, Millwall triumphed over both Arsenal and Chelsea, with Sesay at the heart of their success, ultimately earning his spot with the North London club.

The Rising Ballers, who closely track youth talent, have foreshadowed this acquisition as a major victory for Arsenal’s Hale End academy, emphasizing that Sesay ranks among the most thrilling young talents emerging in the country, with a host of elite clubs vying for his signature.

Now though, it seems the Championship side have lost one of their up-and-coming prospects.

The Millwall teenager, Joshua Sesay has finally completed his moved over the river to join Premier League giants Arsenal. He’ll link up with their U15s ranks as he looks to forge a successful career in the game
