Sierra Leone National Women’s Football team- Sierra Queens, left Freetown on Friday night to honor a decisive return leg match against The Gambia’s senior women’s football team in the African Women’s Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
A twenty-nine man delegation headed by SLFA Executive Committee member, Ramatu Kamara landed safely at the Banjul International Airport and was warmly received by Pierre Jarju, Protocol Officer, Gambia Football Federation, who escorted the delegation to the Paradise Hotel.
The match would take place at the Independence Stadium, Bakau on Monday 25th October, 2021.
In the first leg a week ago in Liberia, The Queen Scorpions defeated host Sierra Queens 2-0.
