The appeals committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has concluded the appeals process involving East End Lions and BO Rangers regarding the FA Cup.

The committee has decided to reduce the fine imposed on BO Rangers from sixty million old leones (60,000,000) to twenty million old leones (20,000,000).

Despite the reduction in the club’s fine, Alpha Rashid’s individual fine of five million old leones (5,000,000) remains unchanged. Additionally, the fines of one million old leones (1,000,000) each for the five players of BO Rangers also stand, and no public apologies have been mandated.

Furthermore, the replay of the match for the remaining twenty-five minutes will proceed as planned. The SLFA is expected to officially communicate this final decision to both clubs shortly, accompanied by an official press release detailing the outcomes of the appeals process.

This decision concludes a contentious chapter in the SLFA Cup, ensuring that the remaining minutes of the match will be played under revised financial penalties.
