The newly elected Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially approved the formation of an Ad-Hoc Transition Committee. The decision was made during its first formal sitting held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

The primary mandate of the Ad-Hoc Transition Committee is to oversee and coordinate a smooth and professional transfer of administrative responsibilities following the conclusion of the SLFA electoral process.
The committee is expected to begin its operations on Friday, August 8, 2025, and will serve until Friday, August 22, 2025. During this period, it will work in close collaboration with the Executive Committee and other relevant stakeholders to ensure an orderly and transparent transition.
The members of the Transition Committee are as follows:
Dr. Isaac Massaquoi – Chairman
Mr. Sirajin Munirr Rollings Kamara – Vice Chairman
Mr. George Moore – Member
Madam Isha Bawoh Esq. – Member
Mr. Mans Davies – Member
Mr. Tanu Jalloh – Secretary to the Committee
The SLFA leadership has emphasized that this transitional effort is crucial for establishing continuity, institutional memory, and operational stability within the football governing body. The appointment of the committee is seen as a step toward strengthening internal governance and ensuring that the newly elected officials are adequately supported in taking up their roles.
Stakeholders within the football community have expressed hopes that this move will contribute to a more accountable and effective SLFA administration in the months and years ahead.
