The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has called on all clubs and academies to attend a coordination meeting ahead of the 2025/2026 Youth Talent Development Scheme.

The session will cover registration procedures, competition guidelines, and the implementation plan for the upcoming season’s youth programmes.

Clubs and academies interested in participating in the U-15 and U-17 Talent Development Scheme for boys, as well as the U-16 Scheme for girls, are encouraged to attend the meeting scheduled for Friday, 5 December 2025, at 10:00 AM at the SLFA Secretariat.

According to the association, the meeting will provide a step-by-step briefing on team registration, eligibility and documentation requirements, the competition calendar and format, and the rules governing the Talent Development Scheme. Organisers will also address logistical matters such as match venues, refereeing, medical protocols, and safeguarding standards.

“The coordination meeting is essential for all clubs planning to register teams this season,” said Ibrahim Kamara, Head of Media and Marketing at the SLFA. “It ensures that clubs are fully aware of administrative and technical expectations for a smooth rollout of competitions and talent identification activities.”

Club administrators, academy directors, team managers, and coaches responsible for youth teams are urged to attend and come prepared with questions about registration, player eligibility, or competition logistics.

For further enquiries, stakeholders can contact the SLFA via the details provided in the public notice.
