The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced plans to host a nationwide CAF D License Coaching Course across all five regions of the country, beginning on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, 29th January 2026, the course will be conducted concurrently in all regions as part of SLFA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening grassroots football development and improving the technical capacity of coaches nationwide.
Each region will host 30 participants, ensuring broad regional representation and wider access to standardized CAF coaching education. The course fee has been set at NLe 2,500 per participant, payable into the Sierra Leone Football Association Revenue Account at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank.
Interested applicants are required to meet specific eligibility criteria, including possession of an SLFA B License, being at least 18 years old, active involvement in coaching within the last two years, basic computer skills, and the ability to read and write.
Eligible candidates are expected to register through their respective Regional Football Associations, which have been encouraged to ensure that all nominees fully meet the stated requirements before submission.
The SLFA has called on qualified coaches across the country to seize the opportunity to further their coaching education and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of football in Sierra Leone.
