The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the postponement of their Ordinary Congress, originally planned for the first week of July 2024.
This decision stems from a recent court case that led to the closure of the SLFA headquarters, hindering essential administrative preparations for the Congress.
The SLFA emphasized its commitment to respecting the court’s ruling and working swiftly to resolve the situation. President Thomas Daddy Brima and the Executive Committee are actively seeking to restore normal operations as soon as possible.
A new date for the Ordinary Congress will be announced once the legal issue is settled. All SLFA members have been informed of the postponement.
The SLFA expressed appreciation for the understanding and patience of its members and the public during this challenging time. They remain dedicated to promoting football development and upholding its integrity in Sierra Leone.
