The Sierra Leone Football Association has ordered the Head Coach of the Sierra Leone National Female Team (Sierra Queens) Abdulai Kaloga Bah to step aside from his duty with immediate effect pending investigations on him regarding alleged professional misconduct.

Consequently, Hassan Malik Mansaray- Assistant Coach 1 has been authorized to temporarily take charge as head in tomorrow’s Women’s AFCON Qualifiers match against The Gambia.

This comes following reports of alleged intimidation and sexual harassment of female players in the Sierra Leone National Team.

Previously, the SLFA has said that it has not received any official complaint with respect to incidents of sexual harassment allegations. But added that following public outcry relating to allegations of harassment, it will carry out investigation in the said allegations and anyone found wanting will face the full force of the law.
