The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has indicated that voting for player of the season, goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker, coach and team of the season will wind down on Friday afternoon.
Final matches on the 2022-23 season will be played on Saturday July 22 across the country.
The voting process is being done by members of the Premier League Board Media Committee and top sport journalists in the country.
Defending champions, Bo Rangers have already retained their title weeks ago.
Sierraloaded has learnt that some notable names that have surfaced for the best striker award include FC Kallon’s Alie Conteh, Lamboi FC’s Ibrahim Kamara and Bo Rangers’ Abu Komeh.
Meanwhile, Salieu Bah of Wilberforce Strikers and Santigie H. Kargbo have been mentioned by some of the voters.
The Lungi-based club, Lamboi FC have also been mentioned best FairPlay team.
The Board said the award is line with best practice in order to certify players, coaches, supporters and teams for their actions throughout the 2022/23 season.
