The National Sport Supporters Union has in a letter addressed to Babdi Kamara and the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) appreciated them for the effort in building the football space in the country.
They also commended the CEO for the philanthropist move in constructing the southern arena stadium which is not only for the people of Bo but for the country at large. They furthered thank them for including them into the event as they plan to working with them for future successes.
The letter reads;
“On behalf of the National Sports Supporters Union, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for inviting us to the opening ceremony of the new stadium in the second city. It was an honor to be a part of such a momentous occasion for our country’s sports development.
We commend the efforts of the CEO and the Sierra Leone Football Association in spearheading this project. The new stadium is a testament to your commitment to improving the game in our nation. It provides a modern and world-class venue for our athletes to showcase their skills and for fans to enjoy the matches.
We are thrilled about the prospect of future collaborations between our union and the football association. Together, we can work towards creating a vibrant and supportive sports culture in Sierra Leone. By involving the Sports Supporters Union, we can ensure that the voice of the fans is heard and their passion is channelled effectively to contribute to the growth of the game.
Furthermore, we hope that the success of this project will inspire other philanthropists and organizations to make similar strides in supporting sports development in our country. With increased investment and collective efforts, we can nurture talent, provide better infrastructure, and create more opportunities for aspiring athletes.
