The West Africa Football union [WAFU] has empowered two senior Management staff of the Sierra Leone Football Association(SLFA) with senior management trainings in Monrovia, Liberia.
The two beneficiaries of the senior management seminar are Director of competitions Sorie Ibrahim Sesay and Head of Women’s Football, Mirian Heroe.

The two successfully completed the two-day seminar for CAF General Coordinators in Monrovia, Liberia under the auspices of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone-A.
According to SLFA Media Department, the Zonal Executive Director, Gaye Mapathe, disclosed during the opening ceremony that the seminar is in fulfillment of the Union’s vision to capacitate personnel that will be charged with various responsibilities in the management of competitions within Zone A.
The participants, were selected from the nine nations in the zone, based on a number of strategic tournament management areas, including organization, competitions management, responses to emergency situations, stadium inspections among others.
