Sierra Leone’s forward, Augustine Williams, has been named to the USL Team Championship Team of the Week.

Williams netted two goals for Battery FC in a recent match against Rio Grande Valley FC. Although he was substituted during the game, his impressive performance has earned him a spot in the team of the week.

Lately, the forward has not been included in John Keister’s squad for the AFCON qualifiers, despite scoring a goal for the national team.

Williams’ current good form may compel Coach John Keister to consider him for Sierra Leone’s upcoming clash with Nigeria in the June Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
