Popular politician of Sierra Leone’s main opposition All People’s Congress (APC), Omrie Golley has praised the new Freetown International Airport terminal.
“I passed through it yesterday upon arrival in Freetown and was impressed with the quality of workmanship and overall structure,” Golley noted.
He added that he noticed that some of the local staff are encountering difficulties with regards the use of new technologies and modern equipment at the new terminal.
“I wish to therefore congratulate all those all those involved in its inception and development including the Government, the Contractors and all the workers,” he said.
He also admonished authorities to ensure that particular importance be accorded to the maintenance of the structure in the future.
Golley served as Ambassador of Sierra Leone to South Korea in the Government of Ernest Bai Koroma and was recently among those contested for the party’s presidential flagbearer position.
