Community safety volunteers, local chiefs, and key stakeholders in Bo East have come together to bid farewell to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Sia Bernadette Sandy, the outgoing Local Unit Commander (LUC) of the Bo East Police Division.

The farewell event served as a platform to celebrate CSP Sandy’s tenure, highlighting her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to fostering strong community-police relations.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Bockarie Kamara, a community chief from Manjama, praised CSP Sandy’s collaborative leadership, noting her close ties with residents and her proactive approach to addressing community safety challenges. “She has been a true partner to the people, ensuring that security and trust were always maintained,” he said.

Representing the Bo East Police Division, Sergeant Nasiru Kamara, the division’s Media Officer, expressed gratitude for her leadership, discipline, and efforts to strengthen cooperation between the police and local communities.

In her remarks, CSP Sandy thanked the community and her colleagues for their unwavering support, acknowledging that their cooperation made her duties easier. She urged residents and volunteers to continue working with the police to sustain peace and security in the district.
