The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced a series of new appointments to its Referees Committee, following the approval of the Executive Committee.

The move is aimed at strengthening leadership, enhancing oversight, and improving the operational capacity of the body responsible for refereeing standards across the country.

According to the SLFA, the newly appointed members bring a blend of professional experience, integrity, and diverse backgrounds that are expected to contribute meaningfully to the development and regulation of refereeing in Sierra Leone.

The appointed officials include:

1.⁠ ⁠Patrick K. Muana – Chairman

2.⁠ ⁠Alhaji Dawdu Williams – Vice Chairman

3.⁠ ⁠Moinina Samba – Member

4.⁠ ⁠Zainab Wilson – Member

5.⁠ ⁠Brima George Conteh – Member

6.⁠ ⁠Abdulrahman Kamara – Member

7.⁠ ⁠Abass Dauda Kabia – Member

SLFA stated that the appointments reaffirm the Association’s ongoing commitment to strengthening refereeing structures nationwide. The organization noted that the decision supports its broader goals of promoting transparency, improving officiating standards, and ensuring that refereeing activities align with international best practices.

In the statement, the Association expressed confidence in the capabilities of the appointees and emphasized the importance of their contributions to elevating the professionalism and quality of football officiating across Sierra Leone.
