QNET, a leading global wellness and lifestyle company, today affirmed its resolute commitment to protecting communities and upholding ethical business practices by unveiling its comprehensive 2026 strategy to combat misinformation, brand misuse, and fraudulent schemes across West Africa. The announcement was made during a New Year Media Webinar on Friday, 27 February, 2026, attended by 25 Sierra Leonean journalists and editors.

Acknowledging the persistent challenge of negative perceptions and the deliberate misuse of its brand name and products by unscrupulous individuals for personal gain, QNET emphasized its integrated approach for the year ahead. The company’s 2026 plan combines robust anti-fraud measures with expanded public awareness campaigns, community development, and empowerment programs, with a particular focus on regions such as Sierra Leone and Liberia.

Building on significant achievements in 2025, which saw strategic collaborations with law enforcement agencies successfully combat fraud and human trafficking, QNET is intensifying its efforts. In Ghana, for instance, QNET’s partnership with the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) led to the arrest of hundreds of individuals misusing the company’s name and products, resulting in the rescue of several victims. QNET is actively seeking to replicate similar collaborations with law enforcement in other West African nations, including Sierra Leone.

Speaking at the Webinar, the Regional Legal Counsel for QNET in sub-Saharan Africa, Kwasi Danso said: “Our 2026 strategy is built on the firm belief that genuine economic opportunity, robust consumer protection, and impactful social programs are not separate endeavors but rather interwoven threads that build a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous society. We are integrating our efforts to combat fraud, protect vulnerable individuals, and empower communities to thrive through comprehensive CSR initiatives. Let this be a strong signal to fraudsters and those misusing our name: we are pursuing you with the full force of the law.”

In addition to its anti-scam initiatives, QNET looks forward to hosting an even larger V-Africa event in 2026 in Accra, Ghana. This major regional convention will serve as a key platform for entrepreneurship training and economic development, further demonstrating the company’s dedication to empowering individuals and contributing positively to regional economies.
