Four officials from the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) are participating in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Match Commissioners Workshop currently taking place in Egypt.

The delegation comprises Prince Kai Saquee, Emilia Kamara-Jengo, Mohamed Alphaka Conteh, and Yakoya Kamara. They are part of a training programme designed to strengthen match coordination and oversight across the continent.

The CAF workshop focuses on match management, integrity, and organizational standards, equipping participants with practical skills and updated procedures for overseeing fixtures at all levels. It brings together officials from across Africa to share best practices, standardize processes, and improve the consistency of match operations.

The SLFA delegation will take part in modules covering pre-match planning, match-day coordination, reporting protocols, and integrity safeguards. The Association expects the training to enhance professionalism in match administration in Sierra Leone and improve the quality and credibility of domestic competitions.

Beyond technical instruction, the workshop also provides networking opportunities that support closer integration into continental governance frameworks. Strengthening match commissioner capacity is expected to promote fair play, transparent competition management, and the long-term development of football structures in Sierra Leone.

The SLFA has expressed confidence that the knowledge gained by Prince Kai Saquee, Emilia Kamara-Jengo, Mohamed Alphaka Conteh, and Yakoya Kamara will contribute positively to football administration in the country, and wished them a successful and productive training.
