Rapper King Boss LAJ has made a conciliatory visit to Thomas Karimu Baio, a move widely seen as an effort to ease tensions following a public dispute that led to ongoing court proceedings.
The development comes after weeks of legal challenges involving the artist and his co-accused, Ibrahim “Prezo” Koroma. Both men are currently facing three counts linked to an incident that occurred on March 21, 2026, at the Bo Shopping Plaza.
According to details from the case, King Boss LAJ allegedly referred to Mayor Baio as “a bastard” during a live performance. The remarks were recorded on video and later circulated widely across social media platforms, prompting legal action.
Following the incident, the rapper and his co-accused were detained at the Bo Male Correctional Center. They were subsequently granted bail by court order after spending several weeks in custody.
Sources familiar with the matter confirmed that King Boss LAJ’s recent visit to Kenema was aimed at resolving the dispute outside of prolonged legal confrontation. The meeting between the two parties has reportedly led to a reconciliation, with both King Boss LAJ and Mayor Baio said to have made peace.
While court proceedings related to the case are still ongoing, the visit is being interpreted as a significant step toward de-escalating tensions and potentially influencing the direction of the matter moving forward.
No official statement has yet been released by either party regarding the terms of the reconciliation.
