Some senior members of the main opposition APC party have admitted that they will struggle to get 40% of the valid votes in general elections slated for June 24. They attributed this to lack of funds to effectively campaign across the country. “We don’t have money…That is the truth of the matter”, they confessed.
According to reliable sources, the party had depended on the former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma to provide funds for the campaign. “So far”, they said, “The former President has only provided US$100,000 as his own contribution to the campaign.”
It has been confirmed that on the eve of the APC National Delegates’ Conference in Makeni in February this year, former President Koroma sent a delegation of senior party officials to Dr. Samura Kamara, to persuade him not to run for the post of flag bearer. Dr. Samura Kamara reportedly refused, saying that, he believes he is the best candidate to win the June 24 Presidential election.
The rift between the APC flag bearer and his running mate continues to widen following allegations that they are briefing against each other.
The SLPP Presidential candidate, Brig. (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio, continues his campaign across the country, winning new converts, especially those leaving the APC party.
Opinion poll shows that, President Bio is heading for a predictably resounding first round victory avoiding a run-off. He is likely to hit the 60% mark given the momentum that his campaign has taken across the country.
Meanwhile, President Bio is expected to turn up the heat on the APC when he visits Bombali district tomorrow on his campaign trail.
Fake news. Baseless, unfounded, and unsubstantiated. The work of some propagandist elements within the SLPP. The unrelated physical hardship, the everyday skyrocketing of the price of goods and services, the collapse of the economy etc, etc are enough to campaign for the opposition party.

The only reason why I’m commenting on this post, is for certain reasons, this is my first ever comment on sierraloaded posts on their website. When sierraloaded posted something negative about SLPP, the supporters said it’s fake lie and propaganda news, same to the APC supporters. When Adebayor says something that’s unsure and unconfirmed all of the APC supporters jubilate, and also the SLPP supporters when general kalokoh do the same thing they celebrate. You people should stop accusing sierraloaded, they are legit, they publish relevant news, they spread useful information about the country on all sects, politics, religious, sports, entertainment and news.
Disclaimer: I did not say they do not belong to any political parties, all of them has a political party which they support and votes for and wants to vote for again, but they left their parties behind to publish authentic sources.
In the existing cost of living crisis, no ruling party anywhere is capable of garnering 50% of the total votes in a free and fair contest – certainly not in Sierra Leone which is officially the 3rd poorest country in the world in terms of GDP per person and the the 3rd unhappiest in the world in 2023.
There is no reliable pollster in Sierra Leone except you want to rely on that fake Doctor whose life mission is to dabble on anything in the limelight or on the SLPP- card bearer whose institute to reform government is farcical.
No one whose faculties are still intact will in the present climate of hate, fear and intimidation will divulge one’s voting intentions to anyone all over the place other than within the confines of a safe and secured polling station with the caveat that no hidden cameras are in the booths to really know who the likes of folks such as the seemingly new SLPP converts such as Victor Fo of vouchergate fame and Alpha Kanu of Alhaji Abuja fame (courtesy SLPP ) will vote for in the elections.
False news, cros check your information and come back with favtual truth, I’ve have had exclusive charts with key APC member, none will ever tell the negative of their confidence in the June 24 battle, and again no one says anything about former President being sole sponsor of their electioneering process.
Stop deceiving your readers.
And rather would you use such a platfirm to sell party while tending to demean the other.
