Sierra Leone international striker Abu Komeh has officially announced his departure from Sierra Leone Premier League champions Bo Rangers, bringing an end to a successful spell with the Southern Arena club.
In an emotional farewell message shared with fans, Komeh reflected on his journey with the club and expressed appreciation to the supporters, management, and everyone who contributed to his success during his time at Bo Rangers.
“It’s hard to say, but everything has a starting point and must also have an ending point,” Komeh wrote. “I had my last training session with my beloved Bo Rangers today at the Southern Arena.”

The prolific forward also thanked God for the achievements he enjoyed during his stay, describing the period as one of the most memorable chapters of his career.
Since breaking into the Bo Rangers first team, Komeh played a pivotal role in the club’s dominance of Sierra Leonean football, helping the Elephants secure three Sierra Leone Premier League titles. His impressive performances also earned him a call-up to the Sierra Leone men’s national team, Leone Stars, making him one of the few locally based players to receive national team recognition in recent years.
Widely regarded as one of the most clinical strikers of his generation, Komeh’s departure is expected to leave a major void in the Bo Rangers squad. Many supporters have already urged the club’s management to move swiftly to identify a suitable replacement ahead of the new season.
Although Komeh has not yet revealed his next destination, speculation continues to grow over his future, with football pundits suggesting that the forward may have secured a move to an international club.
