The Annie Walsh AWOGA Africana service decade competition has hit a record figure of Over three billion Leones in its fundraising campaign.

The Millennial decade [200-2009] Fundraising committee took the first position with 1,603,423 old Leone for the first time in the history of the school Fundraising competitions.

AWOGA seeks to enhance the learning experience of the pupils to ensure that the school maintains its reputation built over the years.

The recent past years have been challenging due to the global pandemic and economic challenges, but AWOGA has continued to embark on various fundraising initiatives in order to continue to raise funds for the development of the school.

Reacting to the milestone achievement, Asmaa James, one of the organizers took to her social media handle with a post ‘We had one mission, and that was to “win” with a landslide victory. And we did just that with 1,603, 423 old Leones. Thank you to all those who contributed to this success. To the committee and members of the command centre,”

She further thanked colleagues like Dr Jeredine Randall Nee George Andrea Y. E. Koroma Bettie Anslyn Michaela Kadijatu Serry Sheila GodsOwn Fofanah , Precious Amabel Annette Smith amongst others for these successful achievements.

AWOGA Chapters across the globe have funded a number of projects over the years However, there is still lots more work to be done especially on the main administrative building which, dates as far back as 1865.
