The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) has announced a final opportunity for schools to register students for the 2024 National Primary School Examination (NPSE) and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

In partnership with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the portal will be reopened one last time from Wednesday, February 7th to Saturday, February 10th, 2024.

This announcement comes after concerns emerged that some schools had yet to submit their registrations for the crucial exams. The MBSSE is urging all schools to take advantage of this final window and ensure their students are registered to avoid missing out.

Failure to comply with the deadline will result in students being ineligible to sit the exams, the Ministry warned. This emphasizes the importance for schools to act swiftly and finalize their registration process.

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to play an active role by checking with their school administrators to confirm their children’s registration status. Do not hesitate to ask questions or raise concerns if unsure.

This final extension provides a welcome opportunity for schools that may have faced challenges with the initial registration process.

The MBSSE emphasizes the importance of ensuring all eligible students have the chance to participate in these critical examinations, which serve as important milestones in their educational journey.
