Names of Admitted Students Into The Sierra Leone Law School

The Council of Legal Education has revealed the names of admitted students into the Sierra Leone Law School for the 2023-2024 academic year.

277 students are admitted this year into the Sierra Leone Law School, having completed their degrees.

The Sierra Leone Law School provides professional legal training and conducts final examinations for those seeking to become members of the legal profession in Sierra Leone.

Upon completing the Sierra Leone Law School requirements, candidates are issued a Certificate for Call to the Bar awarded by the Council of Legal Education.

Since 1990 the Law School has enrolled law graduates holding an honours degree in Law awarded by the University of Sierra Leone or holding any other degree in Law from a recognized university or any other Institution of higher learning of any commonwealth country approved by the Council of Legal Education.

Congrats to these new lawyers and kudos for all the hard work they have put into getting to where they are now, but can we also start producing computer programmers, engineers and other graduates trained in high tech disciplines in such numbers, well a whole lot more,so we can advance as a country? In advance countries you have one or two people starting companies that go on to provide tens of thousands of jobs (just one company) and bring in billions in revenue (just one company) and we are still languishing in our sad state of affairs.
