Popular hip-hop artistThe CEO of Red Flag Muzik (RFM), Alhaji Amadu Bah, widely known as Boss La, has formally expressed gratitude to President Julius Maada Bio for appointing him as Sierra Leone’s first Peace Ambassador, following the announcement of his successor.
In a letter addressed to the President, Boss La described the appointment as “an incredible honor” and a testament to the President’s commitment to fostering peace, unity, and youth empowerment in Sierra Leone.
“Serving in this capacity has been an enriching and inspiring journey,” Boss La wrote. “It has provided me with a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to peacebuilding initiatives and to promote the core values that bind us as Sierra Leoneans.”
The former Peace Ambassador praised President Bio’s leadership and vision, stating that his administration had created an environment where peace can flourish.
“I am deeply appreciative of your trust and confidence in my abilities,” he added. “Rest assured, I remain committed to supporting the ongoing efforts toward national cohesion and harmony.”
Boss La also extended sincere congratulations to Abubakarr S. Turay, popularly known as Shaddy Baby, who was recently announced as the new Peace Ambassador by the Office of the President.
“I am confident that his devotion and assurance will significantly contribute to our collective efforts to foster lasting peace across the country,” Boss La said.
The Office of the President had previously announced Shaddy Baby’s appointment without providing detailed reasons for the change. “Thank you once again for this extraordinary opportunity,” he concluded. “Your commitment to peace and progress is a beacon of hope for us all.”
