The newly appointed Interim Chairman of the Union of Musicians ALL-STARS Sierra Leone, known as C-Bolt, has outlined his vision for the organization following his assumption of office, describing his appointment as the beginning of a “new chapter” for the country’s music industry.
In a public statement, C-Bolt said his new role is “more than a title,” emphasizing that it comes with the responsibility to strengthen, unite, and elevate the music sector in Sierra Leone while laying a foundation for growth and a smooth transition toward future elections.
He noted that the interim leadership will focus on building structure within the industry, improving coordination among artists, and creating opportunities for the next generation of musicians.
“From the studio to the table of leadership, the mission remains the same: serve the artists, protect the culture, and create opportunities for the next generation,” he stated.
C-Bolt stressed that the new leadership phase is not centered on individuals but on the broader development of the creative industry.
“This moment is not about one man. It is about the culture, the future, and the legacy we will build together,” he added.
He further expressed optimism about the direction of the union, saying the industry requires stronger structures and leadership committed to delivering results.
“A new era deserves structure. A new generation deserves opportunity. And our industry deserves leadership ready to work,” he said.
The Interim Chairman concluded by signaling an active leadership approach, stating that the focus will be on tangible impact rather than rhetoric, as the union embarks on its reform and transition process.
