Ishmail Bah, elder brother of former Peace Ambassador and Red Flag Muzik CEO Alhaji Amadu Bah, popularly known as King Boss La, has broken his silence to address what he describes as “unanswered questions” surrounding the artist.
In a social media post, Bah defended his brother’s character while pushing back against critics and addressing rumours about LA’s ability to travel internationally.
Bah described LA as “the easiest and most calm person you ever seen,” insisting that the rapper treats everyone equally regardless of gender or age.
“LA will starve himself and family just to render help to the needy,” Bah wrote. “Take your time and check all the incident he has being accused of – it’s for someone close to him or for doing the right thing.”
According to Bah, LA changed the Sierra Leone music industry “by himself” with a unique style and a different mindset. “Believe it or not, LA changed the music industry by himself, and others follow,” he asserted.
The elder brother claimed that LA is “the only artist in salone that has a fan in every household family from all tribes, districts or regions across the country.”
Bah went further, stating that LA is “the most popular human being in salone including the vice president and all other politicians excluding the president.”
He dismissed what he called “politicians and entertainers ganging up to suppress and bring him down because they fear his presence and influence.”
Bah firmly rejected claims that LA has been deported or cannot obtain travel visas.
“Name one embassy in salone that doesn’t know who is LA and what he does,” he challenged. “His popularity alone as an artist can be a security deposit for him to travel anywhere around the world.”
Bah revealed that he has been receiving “several bookings for LA across Europe, Australia, Canada and more” from promoters “who never failed their inviting visas applications.”
He cautioned critics: “Don’t hate someone to the point just to look or sound stupid.”
Bah took aim at fellow entertainers who, in his view, are “celebrating and worshipping politicians to be a visa guarantor.”
“I respect entertainers who got booked for tours visas, not who has to follow politicians to perform in their fund raising event,” he said.
He suggested that LA’s influence was evident from the reaction to his recent music: “You know you are great and powerful when you put out a song teaser and the entire country catches fire and the enemies get into their feelings.”
The statement from Bah comes just weeks after LA resumed his criticism of the government. In late April 2026, the Office of the President announced that Bah had been replaced as Peace Ambassador by entertainment figure Abubakarr S. Turay, known as Shaddy Baby
