President Bio Celebrates Sierra Leonean Teachers on World Teachers’ Day
Binta Koroma In honor of World Teachers’ Day, Sierra Leone’s President, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, extended his warm wishes and gratitude to teachers nationwide for their steadfast dedication and vital role in shaping the country’s future.
In a heartfelt message shared on Twitter, President Bio emphasized the influential position teachers hold, stating that they “are the cornerstone of our society, molding the future leaders, innovators, and problem solvers of Sierra Leone.”
The President went on to highlight the broader influence educators wield, not just in sharing knowledge but in molding character, instilling values, and fostering a genuine love for learning among the nation’s youth. “Teachers not only impart knowledge,” Bio wrote, “they nurture character, instill values, and foster a love for learning in our youth.”
