In a recent meeting organized by the Community Relations Department (CRD), helmed by Regional Coordinator Inspector Francess Blake, the Community People of Bo City expressed their deep appreciation for Assistant Inspector General of Police, Brima Kanneh, lauding his commitment to professional policing measures.

The gathering was held at the Regional Complaint Discipline and Internal Investigation Department office and served as a platform for acknowledging AIG Kanneh’s efforts in ensuring the safety and security of Bo City.

Recognizing the community as an invaluable partner in combatting crimes, AIG Kanneh commended their unwavering dedication to upholding safety standards within Bo City. Collaboratively, they emphasized the necessity of cooperation in preserving the city’s security.

AIG Kanneh, in conjunction with Local Unit Commander Chief Superintendent of Police Alphonso Abdulai Fambulleh, widely recognized as “CORRECT MAN,” shared insights into a series of initiatives and programs that have notably enhanced policing across the Southern Region/Bo City. Their emphasis on training police officers to exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and respect towards citizens has substantially bolstered trust and fostered positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.

Furthermore, AIG Kanneh and LUC Fambulleh have spearheaded community policing strategies focused on proactive engagement. Encouraging enhanced neighborhood vigilance and identifying responsible youths as Community Safety Volunteers (CSVs), he emphasized the pivotal role of collective efforts in safeguarding the nation’s security.
