Sierra Leone’s Peace Ambassador, Alhaji Amadu Bah, popularly known as Boss LA has reportedly contacted the Mpox virus, prompting him to receive the vaccine today, 28th May, 2025.
This report was made in a recent social media post by WeBlog232, with a video of Boss LA receiving a vaccine.
For months now Boss LA has been a proactive leader in raising awareness about Mpox, emphasizing the importance of community health and safety.
He has urged all Sierra Leoneans to follow recommended precautionary measures, including maintaining good hygiene, avoiding close contact with infected individuals, and seeking medical attention if symptoms appear.
“Together, through collective responsibility and adherence to health guidelines, we can protect our nation from the spread of Mpox and uphold the well-being of our people,” he stated during a recent public address.
In response to the increasing number of cases, Ambassador Bah is implementing plans for a nationwide campaign aimed at educating the public about Mpox. His efforts are focused on ensuring that citizens are informed and equipped to handle the health crisis.
