On Wednesday, May 10th, 2023, the lifeless body of an unidentified man, estimated to be between the ages of 30 and 45, was discovered within the premises of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority compound.

The individual’s identity remains unknown at this time.

The unsettling finding occurred around 9 am, following a heavy rainfall that occurred earlier.

Reports from various sources, including SLRSA officials, reveal that the origin of the deceased individual is unclear.

Given that the body was discovered in close proximity to a drainage system running through the compound along KIssy Road, it is plausible that the man either drifted there from an unknown location or was deliberately deposited within the drainage itself.

In response to this distressing situation, the Ross Road police have been notified, and the body has been transported to the mortuary for further examination.

The primary objectives are to determine the cause of death and ultimately establish the man’s identity.
