19-year-old Sahr Mani Gborie has fled his home after allegedly killing his 14-year-old brother in Koidu City, Tankoro Chiefdom in Kono District.

The mother of both children, Kumba Gborie told the Tankoro Police Division that her younger son was assaulted by the elder son at around 5 in the evening. The altercation later led to the death of her 14-year-old son.

According to local journalist, Fohad Mbaimba Kallay said the Scene of Crime Officer (SOCO), Detective Sergeant Conteh MM said that they are investigating the matter and that the body of the deceased is awaiting postmortem examination at the Koidu Government Hospital.
