The Sierra Leone Anti-Corruption Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala has paid tribute to Sierra Leone soldiers while celebrating Armed Forces Day.

The ACC Commissioner stated that Sierra Leone Soldiers are rated among the Least Corrupt and most trusted by the citizens of Sierra Leone in all surveys.

He added that he has had the honour of being protected by, and working with, some of the finest of them in his 5 years as Anti-Corruption Commissioner of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

“Today I pay tribute to them, particularly Sergeant Dephon Jones, who lost his life while in the service of protecting me on behalf of the State, just over a year ago,” Francis said
