The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Pujehun Police Division is currently probing an alleged death by misadventure at the Pujehun Technical College in Pujehun Town.

This revelation was made by the Community Relations and Information Officer of the Pujehun Police Division, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kenewa John Squire.

According to ASP Squire, the incident came to light on Friday, 22nd September 2023, when a concerned resident of Kpetewoma (1) Section in Pujehun Town, Lahai Mustapha, reported a distressing discovery. Mustapha claimed to have found the lifeless body of his colleague, 65-year-old Mohamed Fullah, who hailed from Najay village in Kpanga Chiefdom, lying in the Pujehun Technical College for TVET quarters between the Gbondapi Highway and Manjama Bush in Pujehun.

Upon receiving the report, the Pujehun Police swiftly launched an investigation into the matter, joined by the Medical Superintendent of the Pujehun Government Hospital, Doctor Aiah Wurie. Together, they conducted a thorough physical examination of the deceased.

ASP Kenewa John Squire emphasized that the investigation is still in progress, and the circumstances surrounding Mr. Fullah’s death remain unclear. While initial suspicions have been raised, authorities are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to shed more light on the incident. Residents have expressed shock and concern over the tragic event, awaiting further updates from law enforcement officials.
